Once again,
the wind attempted to blow us over, when gusting it was a challenge just to
stand still, but 9 early and 27 later starters did manage to play a scramble
today, and on the main greens, but as you would expect
for a few days putting will be a challenge over the sandy greens.
So, with the
conditions in mind, the top scores were a bit higher than usual, plus with only
three 2s they have a decent pay-out today.
Today some
generous person left some change on a table, all I need is the table, dates of
the change etc. Seriously if it’s not claimed I will put it in the charity pot.
Two played
the Rolling Stableford today; J. Stephens 27pts & T. Downey 25pts.
