Monthly Stableford Qualifier Report 24/09/2018
69 seniors
turned out today, I believe a couple more just did not turn up!!. We played in
sunny conditions and thankfully no wind today, again the greens were a bit of a
lottery, but they should settle down soon, despite this there were still some
decent scores in today.
You will see
on the blog a note from Mike Mosser, saying how sad he is to be leaving us at
the end of this week.
the end of this week.
Mike we wish
you well in the future, and hope that you keep enjoying your golf wherever you
decide to play.

You may not have heard
that during the summer we moved to the centre of Dorchester. The only downside
to the move was that it meant that almost certainly I would have to find
another golf club.
In anticipation, I
organised a special 6 month membership with Sean Whelan with an option to
continue, after I had tried the journey. I have come to the conclusion, that it
really is too far to travel twice a week particularly during the winter months.
My membership therefore comes to an end this week. It will be a wrench to leave
the CST Seniors. I have really enjoyed the friendship and the many rounds of
golf over the years, since I arrived with the others from Cheddington.
I wondered if John could
put a brief note in the blog thanking all the people who have made my
membership so enjoyable.
I will be looking at
Came Down and Weymouth before deciding where to settle. Perhaps I will be able
to persuade someone to come over for a future Seniors Open.
Thank you once more
Mike Mosser
