Wednesday 26th September
As temperature Hits 21 again

Last chance this morning to enter our Ryder Decyder Sweepstake  - by predicting the scores of the 5 sessions.  £2 entry. Forms are on NB and available at Roll-Up - but entries will be frozen at 09:00.

With 9 different results possible for each session and 23 for the Singles..
That's 9 x 9 x 9 x 9 x 23 = 150,000 different combinations.

Remember you don't have to predict the whole thing correctly -just amass points by getting individual sessions correct.

Blog will be updated over the weekend as sessions complete.

We hear John Wandless is in Musgrove undergoing some test so we wish him well...he has a busy week next week with the Avalon League match..no update on Maurice Arnold

Dave Mugridge & Roger Hinds played their Summer KO Semi-Final.

We passed them on the 10th as Roger had just levelled the match.

and it was tight for a while until Roger stole 15th with an Up & down from the Bunker.

Finally winning 3 & 2 on the 16th Hole.

..and he awaits either Danny of Chris in the Final.

SENIORS ROLL UP- Wednesday 26th September 2018-
3 MAN TEXAS SCRAMBLE –

                  Five drives per man minimum

Glorious day today for golf. Blue skies, warm without hardly a breathe of wind ( unless you stood behind John Sweet!) No excuses today then for not producing your best play.
On arrival the car park looked like Brands Hatch and the turn out boasted 15 earlies and 33 lates. Congratulations to Messrs Forster, Evans and Branchflower for breaking the 60 nett barrier.
Maybe with Autumn approaching this might be considered the last knockings for wearing shorts as they were still prolific.
Bob B would like to thank everyone for the impeccable way the score cards were completed today as he could not find a single fault, which does make his scrutinizing that much easier and also proves that we can do it
. Due to the good turnout prize money is spread between the top five teams and there were five two's each paying £1.60 per team member.
Saying a big good bye to Roy Miller today who is moving back to Oxfordshire, he bought me a pint and will be missed.

Peter Spencer-Farr Vice.

Bryan & Richard were looking for divine guidance to enter the sweep.

"I'll definitely put him down for a Win...."

Lots going on around the course. We crossed paths several times with Farmer Bob, Nobby & Dickie Hall. Bob was getting frustrated trying to get all the drives in and had to chose 1 of these 2 balls on the 15th...but both had fallen into quite deep animal scrapes.

Farmer Bob did wish us to report that all the cards were filled out perfectly today and congratulates you all.

Roger Stone was in firm control of his trio and even managed an 'All my own work'  Two on the 13th.

Roy came up to say goodbye and offered to'splice the mainbrace' - but I was the only Sailor present so most dipped out.
