               Roll-Up Report 3-Man Team Stableford

Reference Monday 12th  Sept Yellow Ball  Roll Up

Need to apologize  to Andy Beale and the early birds for thinking that the published comp was to be played by stroke indexes and not by holes resulting in the later players doing it differently. Both are recognised legitimate formats and I made the wrong call. OOPS

..and back to Barrie....
12 early and 27 late later starters played today in much cooler and damp conditions, not so easy to run the ball down to the green today.

Once again a bit of confusion as Harrison in the pro shop said that the computer was not set up for us, so we just played a 3-ball all to count Stableford team game, (this is how it will be played in the future), although when I went back in the shop afterwards Cyd showed me that it was set up if he had looked!.

One team did decide to jack it in, on the 4th I believe, perhaps the threat of rain was enough to panic Chris, but no I don’t really know the reason, as they had gone by the time we came in. One team was way out in front today, and with scores of 38, 37 & 40 you can perhaps see why.

One point, at the last committee meeting it was decided that when we play 3-man team games, that a second card should be marked, this then can be checked against the master card before handing in, I suggest that you check after 9 & 18 holes, note we only require the master card upstairs.

There were 10 birdies paying 0.65p per player.
