your entrance fee, please will you put the fee in an envelope as soon as
possible. Mark the envelope "County Seniors Stableford" and add your name. Place the envelope in the grey box attached to the seniors filing
cabinet in the locker room.
Roll-Up Report 2 from 3 Stableford (Discard)14/09/2018
12 early and 29 late starters played today in another good day for
golf, conditions are now that bit cooler first thing, but we can’t grumble with
the great weather we have had this year.
Interesting to see that groundsmen have already made a start with
the course maintenance which really starts on Monday, perhaps Dave knows
something about the weather that we don’t.
Well done to Maurice & Des who decided to play todays format
as a two ball rather than play the rolling stableford, and well done to the
winners, Bob said for the first 9 I just watched John & Gordon get on with
it, I said I thought you usually did!.
If you have ordered a Seniors shirt, they are now in the hands of
Peter S F, he will be chasing you for the £30 & he’s well hard!
Please note, we are down to play a Bowmaker on
Monday, as we are not sure as to the state of the course due to the course
maintenance, if the early birds decide that it needs to change we will follow
suit, so please make sure it’s on the board, so we know what to play.
Now to end on a sad note, I was informed by the club this morning
that Brian Anderson has passed away, I did mention this at the roll-up, If you
are new members this year you may not know him, as he has been unwell for some
time now, but as a long standing member of the seniors section, our thoughts
are with his family at this stressful time.
There were 14 birdies paying 0.50p per player.
