birds & 24 late starters played today, thankfully the weather was cooler
today & the breeze helped. I turned up early today but the early birds
rejected me, well they had
enough to make up teams of 3 so I hung on for the 08:45 roll-up & thought I’d hit some balls only to find that the driving range was closed for maintenance, whatever that meant, I should have stayed in bed.

Overall the
marking of cards was pretty good, with only a couple which had added up the
scores wrong, I know we all do it, we sign alongside the markers signature but
never check the scores/ additions, but everyone did have the gross scores down
so well done with that.
15 birdies today paying 0.40p per
team player.
It has been
suggested that we only pay out on birdies to the person that gets it, so the
pay-out is larger per birdie!!.
