Quite a few Seniors about on a nice Golfing Day - where all that rain yesterday has simply vanished.
Many booked their own Tee-Times and so early Birds were just down to 4.5, with Gordon, Tony & Alistair playing an Individual.
Late roll-up gradually grew and ended up with 12 ready to rumble..with Brian Hodder tagging on at the end.
Pleasant 2 from 3 Discard, where you have to delete one score from a Par 3, Par 4 & par 5 Hole. With 10&15 counting as Par 5 Holes.
The Draw worked out well with the 4 lowest handicappers falling into 4 different teams.
We had Brian Hodder making up a 4 with our group and he drove a buggy. Now when I say Drove, I mean more like a stock car. It's ironic that he had intended attending the Smeatharpe Meeting today but his Wife was not too good - but the way he was driving he may just have well been up there as he hit most of the hedges & ditches, not seeming to have any peripheral awareness, I've never seen him quite so bad and shaking quite severely much of the time - hope he got home ok.
