2 from 3 Yellow ball

Too weary to do much more tonight as been packing for Scout Camp Tomorrow.
Just time to apologise to Chris Basterfield who asked us to confirm as we read out the names , that any ball OOB meant it was lost for the whole round. I incorrectly told him I knew of no such ruling, until he brought up the newly printed 'Roll-Up Formats' that said exactly that. I can only assume the Captain has made this new ruling , so we have to comply until clarified at the AGM - although personally I think a potential 36 shot 'Penalty' for one mistake will kill this particular competition, but we'll let the AGM decide.




Frankie came in with a stunning 150 Points and demanded immediate payment so he could fill his car with Petrol, until it was pointed out to him that adding 3 scores per hole was a little unfair and he was requested to re-calculate.

We were joined today by Andrew Chambers who had never played Yellow Ball before, but quite liked the First Hole where his Birdie earned him 8 Points....


..but he wasn't so happy a bit later , having just birdied the 6th for another 8 points and his team looking favourite for a big win....

  .and the Yellow was gone.
   I was playing so carefully as well. Nearly Eagled the 3rd Hole with 2nd shot stopping 15 inches from the pin, for an easy birdie...
