Tuesday 17th - Back-Up Roll-Up
Sunday July 15th
I’ve been up the club this morning, only 4 seniors ventured
out, Ian Housham, John Sweet, Bill Hilson & Trevor Dobson, I watched them
drive off saying ok let’s see how it should be done off the 1st tee.
Bill high over the tree’s onto the 4th fairway,
Ian right into the hedge alongside the marquee, never to be seen again, John
left into the tree’s, Trevor about 50yds down the fairway then 2nd
out off bounds, I took a quick picture then ran for it.
Also I need 5 more players for our match on Monday at home
to T&P, if anyone can play but can’t get up to put your name down by Friday
please let me know & I will add you to the list.
Please see changes to Sidmouth Team after sad demise of Keith over the weekend, we'll certainly miss him on the Interclub Match scene as he was a stalwart supporter.

Passing of Keith Potter
Dear Golfers,
We have just been given the news that our golfing colleague Keith Potter passed away in his sleep on Saturday Night.
Keith was up playing on Friday and in fact was in the Team placed 2nd. On Friday evening he called the Para-Medics to his home, who attended to him He was seen around his home by John Wallis on Saturday morning. Keith informed John that the Medics thought it was a Kidney Stone, although Keith had complained to John of shaking hands and feeling very weary.
John got worried on Sunday Morning when Keith's house was still in darkness at 10:00 so called his Son who attended and sadly found that Keith has passed away in his favourite armchair sometime Saturday Night.
I'm sure you will join us all in mourning Keith, such a character, and offering our support to his Family.
John & Ruth Wallis, who live just yards away are extremely distraught.
