B. Heath  (Seniors Captain)

Dickie Hall was up there doing the April Draw.
1 Litre of Scotch was won by Paul Matthews & the other Booze was won by ( Stu Pope I think).
Dickie was straight off to Musgrove as he had a suspected stroke over the weekend, so being evaluated...but he certainly looked OK.
Farmer Bob also in for tests today, so hope they both fare OK.

Bit of a scare about 'Winter Rules' today, as the sign was removed - but since cleared up by Sean, declaring they come off tomorrow - May 1st.
Dave, James & Terry were first off as the crowd still silent to watch Dave M get things underway...
( Click on Picture & use scroll bar for better views)

as we all watched in awe......

and then a moment to look away...

But Golf's a great equaliser as Billy found out on the 2nd as the laughter caught our attention...

with 5 Drives each, Terry had to make one on 15th - but good, bad or ugly - it had to be taken.
It was Billy's turn to laugh as Ian fluffed one to 14th.

Danny's Trio never quite fired today.
They were seen playing the 6th Hole from the 17th Green..remember that was their best drive out of 3 - wonder what the story was ?

Right, lots on the Notice Board that may require your attention.

No.1 - Summer Knockout

A great little Comp that runs all Summer - but we'd love 64 Names to get it underway. Individual Matchplay where half field gets eliminated every round, to boil down from 64 to 32,16,8 etc to Final. It's great fun and not too serious at first, so please get your name down and help Richard Forster reach his target.

Next Round of Challenge Cup at Sherborne - a beautiful Course and a great Day out for the Section. Lifts available if you don't want to Drive.

Need names for this one, paired High & Low Handicappers - as you can see, pick your own Team of just put your name under the appropriate Column.

Captain needs more names for this Friendly Match, but you'll need a Team Shirt.

Next Qualifier - filling up nicely

Plenty for you to Think about.

Have to confess that Dave's Shot on 16th was fine, but we never like to let the truth get in the way of a good picture !!!
