Waltz 123 in the Rain
15 early birds and 24 late starters turned out in overcast
but dry conditions but as the morning
progressed the rain started and hasn’t stopped since, I think with the ground
still being very wet
the surface will soon start to flood again.

A couple of notes from todays play, as we were walking off
the 17th tee I glanced over to see Keith B.
very short off the 16th green & in rough on the right he played his 2nd shot & finished about a foot from the pin, then on the 2nd when we got on the green we called them up & who’s tee shot came up onto the green & rolled just passed the pin but Keith B. again, I wonder how they did today!, plus Roy Miller hit his tee shot on the 10th along the ground then took a drop out of the ditch then played his shot & his club finished going further than the ball only backwards over his shoulder.

We are trying to rearrange the Challenge Cup at East Devon
unfortunately now that it’s getting to a busier time of the year we don’t have too
many choices left, either we have a lot of events/matches on + East Devon are
in the same situation. One date that is available is 29th March, but
the tee times would have to be from 12
noon to 13:30, we have to make a decision by Monday.
One more note the CST Seniors match shirts are now in, if
required please see Peter S F & he will
relief you of £30. They are not available in the shop.
