Winter League Round 7

39 played in the Winter League today in cloudy but milder conditions, there were still some good scores although not quite up to the heights of previous rounds.
A note for the future, at least two seniors jumped in during todays competition, this is not allowed unless you were taking one of the two spare times between the early and late starters, but to do this you must be booked in by the pro shop to a tee time, if you do not you may well find that if you have an accident on course your golf insurance could well be invalid.
The draw for the final round on Friday 23rd will be on the blog shortly.
21 birdies today paying £0.90p per player.
Players marked in red competed on their own today.

B. Heath (Capt.)
Met Bob Irons & his family up CST today. Bob lost his Wife Olive last week and they were up booking the Wake.
Funeral is in Crewkerne Church on 9th March and then up at Golf Club.

Also chatting to Jackie, (CSTBoss) - Remember Jackie & her Ladies were in Clubhouse on Friday en-route to Bournemouth for their Skittles end-of-year function as they departed on that big grey coach.  Jackie told me of a rude awakening on Sunday Morning when all she wanted was a nice lie-in...until a massive power-surge hit the electrical supply and burned out several items in rooms causing smoke to fill the upper floors..so reluctantly she has to join the rest of the guests in the Car Park in Jim-Jams...

Aaron has asked us to post the below to give Seniors
first chance of booking slots in his Clinics.

You know it makes sense !

Sorry Andy, but you do look a bit Wide-Eyed.
You should see Gordon's Hand after the fall last week, very swollen & bruised.

So you have to concentrate , Billy had just Teed-Off on 14th as he was walking to his ball pictured here

Farmer Bob playing alone as Frankie Holidays abroad yet again...

George playing 4th and looking to build on their previous efforts

Definite boost for Martin & Lyndsey...Up 39 Points today after dropping a Zero

Quinny who played in pain as his shoulder continues to improve. Welcome back to Richard Dines (far left) who now has a 'repaired heart'  and raring to go again. Both Richard and Diana have been in the Wars recently.
