Roll-Up Report Wednesday

17 seniors braved
the weather today with the 4 early birds playing 18 holes and 13 late starters
playing only 9 holes as a Texas Scramble as it turned out not to be an official
roll-up we played 3 teams of 3 & one of 4 players, not sure it worked out
fair but we all at least had some fresh air, the big surprise was that we were on 6
of the greens on this side of the road and only 3 temps.
Bob Barrow/ M. Bargery/ M. Leigh won the
spoils with a 29.50pts with R. Stephens/ A. Chance/ R. Davis in second
place with 29.84pts. I tried to get Bob’s team disqualified for putting the
date on their card as 3-1-2017 but that didn’t go down well.
The December
Rolling Stableford was won by Dave Taylor, with 35 points, who wins £8.00, and
the runner-up, with 34 points, was Bob Barrow who wins £4.00

Wednesday 24th January is now on the notice board so please get your name down asap as depending
on numbers it may have to be limited. Wife’s and partners are most
welcome so join the Captain for a wee nip and see the Haggis piped in.

Friday 28th Nov- Our last November Roll-Up so join us for a "6-Drive" Scramble in the mild and hopefully dry early winter...it could well be very busy...
