Roll-Up Report Friday 5th January 2018
3-2-1 Waltz (9 holes)
Dance anyone ?

Good to see Bert back dancing after his 'Whiplash' outage.

33 seniors sloshed about in the mud today 12 early birds & 21 late starters, I think it was clear that we should not have been out on some of those greens & tee’s but I’m sure most were just glad to be out in the fresh air after xmas & the new year festivities.

Not sure why we played a 3-2-1 Waltz today as it was not the format on the schedule but as it was on the board in the bar we followed the early starters.

There were 5 birdies today paying £1.10 per player with no one playing the January rolling Stableford. Tony Stenhouse tried, but being on 10% lung capacity with Man-Flu he didn't get far.

B. Heath Capt.

Bill Hilson, anything near the green would have won the com today with 2 shots...but for some reason his ball went over the hump...can you tell him why ?
To be fair, he did make a magnificent 2 on the 16th...but then we never saw him again...

Thanks to Mike H for this picture of one of our Members keeping up his NY resolution of abstinence...
