Roll-Up Report Monday 18th December 2017
2 from3 Stableford.
21 early birds and 24 late starters played in the above competition today + 2 in the rolling Stableford in lovely sunshine, unfortunately still no buggies so a few seniors played only the top nine holes.
As John has already mentioned it nice to see J- Mac up there today recovering from his eye operation, whilst recovering he has grown a beard at least until his eye settles down and he is confident as to what he is cutting.
One team were disqualified for entering one of the scores incorrectly on the second hole.

Billy not happy as his card comes under severe scrutiny....he had been accidentally credited with a score on the 2nd, which Bob had made..and the scrutineer was in the Team behind ..unlucky Bill.

Stuart under pressure as large crowd watch him go for the        Green on the 2nd Hole.....

I'll let you decide where you think the ball went.....

Danny peppering the Greens all day, but nothing dropped. His Drive on 15th left him just 70 Yards to the pin....or 67.459 Yards as Danny prefers to describe it.

Danny had a lot on his mind with a big Dinner Party to plan, how to hide his Bacardi Stocks and looking forward to trend-setting triple chicken breast main course, stuffed with finest Cheddar, wrapped in Farm-Bred bacon, coated with grated garlic foccaccia and coated with toasted maple toffee...sound yummy.

J-Mac was up there today, but not able to play yet. I heard a description of his eye operation where they injected a bubble of nitrogen into his eye-ball to keep his retina tensioned.....but then I fainted and didn't hear the rest....YuK.

Sean the boss was out with Dave admiring work around the 11th Tee which has a new Temp Tee Box right at the back corner.

Green part looks amazing and even the grass seed is growing well...that's December in Somerset for you !
