My version would be
"Whichever Ball is selected, leave in situ and no-one hits it. After others in team have played, pick it up. Repeat on every shot until you are on the green when all players may participate.
Roger suggests Stableford, but I think problem there would be losing decimal point as you would have to round up or down and results are always decided by very small margins.
