3 Man Texas
Scramble – 25th March 2016
A very respectable turn out
for Good Friday with eighteen members contesting a Texas Scramble. Not knowing
how many would play, the format was only decided at the last minute when the
numbers were known. Probably the best weather so far this year with many
members in shirt sleeves.
Talking about shirt sleeves, Nobby's Trousers made another appearance...
The strongest team won with a
gross score better than any of the other net scores. The Eagle on 4th hole helped the cause ! - Two 2’s were scored each
paying £4.50 per team.
The team in last place were
disqualified for returning a card which did not conform to any known standards.
If you are unsure how to complete a card, please see the Captain or a member of
the committee.
