Bowmaker – 13th January
2016
The
course was still boggy but much drier than on Monday and we were able to play
15 holes in glorious sunshine. The winning team were a clear six shots ahead of
the pack. The second placed team were helped by the captain’s blow out on the
18th. Still the price of 2nd place is a one shot cut.
Danny
Dowell scored 5 birdies – well done. There
were 12 birdies each paying £1.20 per team

competition is open to all and will be a four man Texas Scramble with a shotgun

Liam directly. There will be prizes for the first three teams. In addition, the
three captains will drive off at 2:15 pm following lunch. Ladies will selling
pegs (3 for £5.00) for members to place where they think the drives will land.
Bottles of Champagne
will be presented, one for each captain, to the winners.
Rosemary
saw Judith Bryden today. Ted is making
progress – slowly but surely, and is still in Musgrove hospital. He is
not well enough to receive visitors yet.
