Turkey Trot (Stableford) – 4th December 2015
Playing conditions changed
yet again for the second Turkey Trot. After overnight rain, the ground was
somewhat soggy but the best players in the Seniors coped much better than the
higher handicappers. Many congratulations to our newest member, David Taylor
who scored 40 points to win Division 2 by a country mile from Brian Marsh who
scored 32 points.
Division 1 was a much closer
affair. Danny Dowell won with 38 points, one point ahead of Tony Church. There
were two 2’s, one for Danny and one for Andy Beale paying £11.00 each.
Many thanks for Team for entering on the Computer, which means most of you have got a 0.1 bonus for Christmas. There was some initial surprise as PH was shown on the leader board with 64 points and a bevvy of 'aces' until the scrutineer found he had entered his points rather than his strokes which makes quite a difference !
