Welcome to our newest senior,
Bob Pippin who plays off 17. Bob has been a member of the club for four years
so he knows his way around the course.
I was busy early on as the EGGS were swelled with cherry-picked stars and joined by Alan C, Alan D, Stuart P, Malcolm R , Jerry, Brian etc for their Christmas Scramble and Lunch. Last Friday had seen outgoing EGGS Captain Edmundo De Caprio hosting an elegant Dinner up at the Club.

He’s done it again. Phil Hunt
led his team to another stunning victory in today’s Yellow Ball competition. I
stand by my description of “Serial Money Winner”. Roger Stone had a fine round
scoring 49 of his teams 119 points.
Close behind with a score which may have won on other days, were the
team of Forster, Flower and Ireland
Reduced numbers today
restricted the prizes to two, much to the chagrin of the Dowell/White/Pearce
team who clearly manoeuvred themselves into the much sought after third spot, but were delighted with the 30p each for the 4 hours of blood sweat and tears...
Birdies were numerous and
paid £0.90 each per team.
