3 Man Hassle - 13th November 2015
Today it was all about the
kudos of winning as all proceeds from the rollup went to Children in Need.
There were 30 members in the rollup who contributed a grand total of £105.00,
which will be made up to £125.00.
Although I did not play, I
understand it was a game for all seasons yet again with heavy rain adding to
the difficulty. There were no “2”s. The
match was played over 13 holes to ensure that members could return in good time
for the AGM. The literary prize goes to Roger Withers for the neatest card of
the year.
The only story I can relate
is that the Hodder/Arnold/Hone team confirmed their Senior’s credentials by
playing 13 holes, recording 12 scores and signing for a total of 12 holes.
Needless to say, they would have won if their recollection of their score on
the 13th was correct.
The AGM report will follow.
