3 Man Stroke Index 23rd October 2015
Another excellent turnout
with 43 members playing today in a 3 man team competition where only one score
counted on the Stroke indices 1-6, 2 scores on SI 7-12 and all 3 to score on SI
13-18. Apart from the money winners, scoring was low, but head and shoulders
above everyone else was Ron Sutherland who scored 19 points on the last 8
holes. There were various suggestions why – but maybe he’s been on the
Neapolitan again.
Bob Barrow went into raptures
when the final card was returned, as his team were not last, but for Geoff Dean
and Nick Hill, it was a case of how the mighty have fallen.
There were 6 birdies each
paying £3.30 per team.
Bill Hilson played in the
Rolling Stableford but did not return a card.

The usual domestic handicap
cuts apply, two shots for the winners and one shot for the runners up.
My apologies for the last set
of results. I awarded Brian Hodder a share of 3rd place when this
should have gone to Brian Marsh. The accounts in the Pro Shop will be adjusted.
Please take careful note of
your start time for Monday’s Medal as there have been several late amendments
which may mean your start time has changed.
