Forty-one seniors turned out today in warm conditions
to play the qualifier with two Divisions.
Overall winner and 1st in Division 1 was
Danny Dowell with a points total of 41 which included an eagle 2, a birdie and
14 pars.
2nd was Richard Forster with 38 points, 3rd
was Alan Teasdale 34 points and 4th Tony Church 33 points.
The Division 2 winner was Richard Hall with 37
points followed by Robin Flower 35 points, Jerry Stephens 31 points and Barry
Singleton 31 points.
The Division 2 results could have been different if
disqualifications had not happened : Martyn Putland did not submit a card for
checking and Alan Davis admitted to entering an incorrect score.
Three rounds were not completed, some because of
injuries. (no details available)
Bernie Skeels has very kindly donated his
Hole-in-One winnings to the Captains charity, I am sure John will thank him on
his return from holiday.
