Cup and Plate Final
On a day
when the weather forecast was for very heavy rain, 26 seniors turned out to
contest the final of this years Challenge Cup and Plate.
Half of
these were amateur meteorologists all trying to predict when the rain would
start- 10am, 11am 1pm, 2pm, match would be abandoned etc. They were all wrong because all players were
back in the clubhouse before it started to rain.

Winner of
the Challenge Cup was Danny Dowell with Barrie Heath second.
Winner of
the Challenge Plate was Bob Barrow with Richard Forster second.
There were 5
birdies: 2 for Bob and 1 each for Danny, Barrie and Bryan Frost.
