3 man Texas Scramble 2015

 

A good turn out today for the roll up with 40 members playing in the rollup and a further 12 playing in the match against Axe Cliff. The match against Axe Cliff was won by 3 games to two with two games halved.

 In the rollup, a mix up in the draw led to Ted Bryden forming a four man team. I hope this didn’t lead to any hold ups. Please, when you place your card on the table prior to the draw, select only your own card and no one else's. This is what led to the confusion this morning. In the event, apart from the hold up at the first tee, it did not affect the result with Robin Flower, Edmundo Paoloni and Nick George winning comfortably by more than one shot.

 

Only one two was scored today, almost inevitably by the winners. This pays £4.30 per team member.

Wednesday’s rollup is a drawn competition for the Jubliee Silver Salver.
