In another rain-affected day, Muggo, Keef and "Over the Hill Son" combined perfectly to have the game won by the time they reached the beautiful new Halfway Hut - 7 ahead on 42 points.
Not the greatest start as presume Dave pushed one OOB after he hit one groove too low, just as a gust of wind came through, causing a rook to take off from the 3rd tree- adding just enough extra breeze to switch the r/l spin to l/r and splashed through a puddle into the hedge. Only getting 3 shots - Dave shot under-par gross through the middle holes and Bill & Keith took care of the rest. Keef got a 2 on the 9th and Bill had a handful of 3 pointers to lead the field by 10 points.
