The Seniors 4BBB Open scheduled for Wednesday 6th September
has been cancelled due to lack of support from away visitors
We are organising a 4 Ball Texas Scramble on Wednesday 27th Sept
The competition will be initially open to CST Seniors and any of their invited guests to form a 4 Ball Team. If the internal entries have not filled all available slots by 1st September, the competition will be opened up to local clubs who we play in friendly matches.
There will be prizes for the first 3 places, as well as a Par 3 competition and nearest the pins on all Par 3's. The prize table will be extensive as we are hopefully getting sponsorship from leading golfer manufacturers and suppliers
There will also be a Hole In One competition with an overall prize of £10,000, of which £5k will go to the successful golfer and £5k to our Charity DSAA. We are also trying to secure other significant prizes for additional Holes in One.
Clive Fisk, with support from Dave Walgrove, is leading the fund raising of the event and is looking for hole sponsors from local businesses and individuals. £100 will secure an individual hole and to date we have 3 confirmed sponsors. Clive is looking for members of the seniors section to "press the flesh" and talk to their own contacts to help with the fund raising. Please speak with Clive, Dave, or myself regarding the format for sponsorship.
Entry List will be put on the Seniors Notice Board over the weekend.
Further updates for the day will be passed on once things are firmed up and finalised.

We still can't read the greens but a good dry day although the mist became a bit worrying a few times, good food and good company.

Result was a Win for Sidmouth 4 -2
We will be looking for revenge in October when we play our
rearranged match at home.
