Now I don't know if I'm being too simplistic, but calculations seem to match what Computer has done.

Looked at my Handicap Record, which has over 200 Rounds recorded, but just 8 are highlighted in Yellow.

Add these 8 Score Differentials and take the average by dividing by 8.

You can see my round yesterday was 19.4 - way lower than any previous round.

Lots of other factor come into the Calc, such has PCC etc - which takes into account scores of the rest of the field and conditions on the day.

See JW, Andy, Richard Holmes, Martin Jewell , Dave M etc if you want to drill deeper - but to me it looked clear enough why Handicap fell a relatively modest amount, but if it was not a 'flash in the pan' - then hopefully I can get it back down to the low 20's regularly. Can't see me getting any lower than that realistically.

Why the change yesterday - nothing bigger than a 3 Rescue came out , Driver etc just seems too long a Club for any consistency these days.

Bob Rees won the June members draw and receives £30

Captain & organiser John Wandless is reluctant to hand over the Frank Martin created Trophy that first saw service as the Ray Gudge Cup at Chedington Court - Thanks to Sir Clive for noticing my wig is still on the hat-stand in the corner.
Chedington closed on Jan 1st 2010 and many members from that time are still with us today.

Lady Captain Ruth Dowell had a great day on Thursday as Danny & JW had been sneakily plotting for Daughter Becky ( Scratch Lady Golfer) - to travel down secretly & play with Ruth.  We had been down earlier to put up the Gazebo and JW then had to run to catering.
Ladies had dressed for fun - go to the Ladies Blog for plenty more great pictures from Carole Lawrence ( Mrs Quinny).

All Ladies we know well

Andy had fun on Fifth - had trouble finding his Tee Shot..which turned out to be a Tree Shot !
