Cricket St Thomas Seniors 2

A bright and sunny day, with a stiff northerly breeze greeted our opponents from Wheathill.

Competition was keen but as always friendly and CST ran out 5 - 1 winners.

Although the result gave us the usual bragging rights over an excellent plate of Steak and Ale Pie, the opposition guffawed loudly when it was announced that the nearest to the pin bottle of wine for the home team on the 13th hole was not won. Many thanks to the Match Captain for the day, Roger Williams, for leading the team and organising the sunny weather.

Individual Qualifier & Challenge Cup Round 3 at Wells

Phil grabs 3 Points on 2nd & 12th,  4 points on 3rd & 16th

                            then a staggering 5 points  on the 18th...just a walk in the park

       

Ian had tried a driving iron for the first time, big divot 4 inches before ball which merely rolled forward a feet feet out of courtesy......
