Nobby’s Funeral
Nobby’s daughter has just been in touch and confirmed Nobby’s funeral will be on Wednesday 26th April, 11:20am at Yeovil Crematorium.

The wake will be at CST golf club, starting at approximately 12:30pm.
All are welcome at both the funeral and the wake.
The roll up on that day will be cancelled and tee slots handed back to club. The scheduled Monthly Medal will be postponed until a later date.
On Friday 19th May the Seniors will be holding a competition in memory of Nobby, format to be decided, and the main club will be holding a similar memorial competition on Saturday 20th May.
Any further details will be posted when confirmed.

CST Seniors played Lyme Regis in the 1st Round of the annual Knighton Heath Seniors KO Team Competition.
Bright sunshine, but a blustery westerly wind made play difficult.
CST seniors, more used the conditions, overcame valiant opponents by 8.5/1.5

There is a 2nd Group called Seniors Fun - but you need a signed disclaimed from your Mother and / or Wife to be added to that particular group.

When he was drawn today with Jim Laughalot, I asked him how Eric had fared with the Yellow ball, being very PC, Jim simply replied " Weeeel, lit me poot it this way..CST is not Marakeeeesh, d'ya ken !"
Thanks to Jim for attending Mon Committee Meeting and offering to take over Fund Raising activities from Dickie Hall who has pulled back to deal with a recent Medical setback and we wish him all the bets ( Dickie that is)...
