Michael AnthonySTENHOUSE(Tony) Formerly of Merriott and Melbury Osmond. Passed away peacefully in South Petherton Hospital on the 17th December 2022 aged 89 years. A very much loved Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday 11th January 2023, 11am at the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul, South Petherton. As of January 1st 2023 all seniors competitions will be played with pick clean and place through the green and all bunkers are to be treated as GUR. This will be reviewed again in February.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

As I approach the new year as your Seniors Captain, I want to thank you all for your good wishes and offers of support for the season ahead.

My aim is for the whole seniors section to get back to more social golf following the difficult years we have had with Covid and the numerous lockdowns.

To all of you who put forward suggestions for next year’s Seniors Charity, Motor Neurone Disease, Alzheimer’s, Dementia UK, I thank you, and after taking a straw poll, I have decided that the Charity for 2023 will be 

The Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance & Critical Response.
