3-2-1 Waltz

Winter League entries are now open. You need to make a 3 man team with 2 man playing 4BBB each round. Each team member must play at least 3 rounds out of 7. First Round is on Monday Nov 16th and the Second Round on Friday 27th with the other rounds to be confirmed in future playing programmes. So far we have 11 teams confirmed.

Use 'Diary' feature on Club Website for 16th November

The weather lived up to the forecast and light rain fell through most of the round and luckily all who had registered their interest in participating did so (without Mike Dawson) and even buggies were allowed. It seems my dig at our future Captain about hitting straight shots worked and he with his team topped the table with a score of 77. I must refrain from encouraging more opponents to do likewise, hence will shut my mouth and keep quiet. Lesson learned I hope!!!

There were Five  2’s and should have been 6 if one of my playing partners knew how to putt (Not me this time, as I was using the pitching wedge quite effectively). I won’t mention his name, but did tell him that he will be blamed if we don’t get a 2 or win the event. Sorry Norman I didn’t tell them it was you LOL.

..but 2 minutes earlier they were in a downpour.....

Not a great start for Alan, Gordon & Jerry - Absolute Zero  on '3-to-Count' 1st Hole...

Neil also had 4-points on the 3rd hole  but his Team faded in the middle....
