Lockdown Day 30

Warm weather continues and even more today. Disappointing number of casualties yesterday, but if we get down below 500 today we are back on track. Great that trials of a Vaccine start today.

Thanks for all the articles that continue to flow in, we get some nice comments in and they are much appreciated. It takes about 3 hours every day to sort through them, edit Videos (Clive)  and combine photos etc, flipping between 4 different devices and getting things in a format the BLOG will accept.

As Roger looks after 31 days in Lockdown
Finally started getting some correct entries for 'Name the Frame' - with Jimmy Mac getting them both. First one was Eric Williams and the second one, guessed by many was Roger Stone .

We have a couple of new ones for today, so more work for you to do.

New contributors arriving every day, this one from Bob Rees over in Hinton St George, wants to see more Man & Dog pictures..as Bob writes...

Seen in deepest Yorkshire by Richard...

Now for some work for you to do, stolen from Tatworth WI, but we have been sharing things for a while now.

Warning - this can be addictive and frustrating....
Our first 'Name the Frame' today is the Man on the left..he adds

"Me in a previous life, the lad in the middle was 16 year old Lee Probert, he became a Premier League Ref

Nice to get a message from Ian Housham, who is in a double feature today, he writes:-

Hi John,

Looking at the first photo in the guess who I am, I believe its Eric Williams and the second is easy Roger Stone.

Keep up the good work it is interesting and breaks the day up, well done

Then a rendevous with Clive out walking...

"Ian gave me permission to send this for the Blog if you want to use it.

Ian out walking his dog in Snowdon Park. That's not his scooter, the driver threw himself on the ground and crawled the obligatory 2metres distance away from Ian before engaging him in conversation."

Mike's been out and about, reports course looking good, lots of grass cutting...

Eric shows us that the Art World has long had to deal with Quarantine issues....

I regret to inform you that Sir Clive has been at it again...viewer discression is advised as usual...

Another Name the frame....this could be a little tricky but there are clues in his very interesting Life....
Correction - our Man is one circled - Sir Clive has already guessed it....

Let's have some fun...

must go as I've a collect order at Wickes in Yeovil, need Plasterboard & Timber so I'm trying to dodge the road blocks....managed to squeeze an 8 foot plasterboard sheet in, but the road closure at East Coker is a little annoying - no-one stopping cars anywhere but fairly quiet but by no means deserted.

Today is our 13th lost Roll-Up and this week we missed the Medal on Monday, St George's Day Bash and Round 2 of the Challenge Cup ..the season is ebbing away slow but sure.

No-one has yet guessed the Monday "Name that Frame" despite Mike Hone being 100 defo that it was J-Mac - He's one of out nicest Seniors, never a bad word and works really hard on his game, 25 Handicap but expected to fall quickly....

new one for today see below.

Let's start today with a serious one, that will haunt us for years to come.  It's probably nonsense..but food for thought about how easily the World can be brought to its knees..without a shot being fired...enjoy !

What do you think ?

Very nice of her Majesty to send us a personal message on her 94th Birthday, thanks Ma'am .

Never short of input from Sir Clive, he wantsto start a DIY Tips Section, so here's his first one about how to neatly apply glue to a pristine Henry Vacuum....

A Window in Coombe St Nicholas....

Here's another Conspiracy Theory Video on how the Virus started over in Haselbury Plucknett….

So the "Name that Frame" entry for today is....

Come on, don't be shy - now's the time to get to know each other.

Poor old Donald gets another bashing….as Death toll reaches 46.000 with 2,700 Yesterday alone..but they are opening up !
