Challenge Cup Round 3...or was it 1
East Devon Golf Club
Challenge Cup at East Devon GC
21/06/2018
At last we
played East Devon GC Budleigh Salterton, this should have been played in March
but was postponed twice because of the weather, to be fair the club did stick
to the March price which for this time of year should have been a lot more. Today
we played in glorious sunshine with the most spectacular views for miles along
the coastline, the course was very dry and the greens were very slick to say
the least.
35 players
put their skills to the test, I would hate to hazard a guess as to how many balls
were lost today in long grass and heather, but you can’t help but like this
course and I hope we are able to have another go next year.
Todays results= nearest the pin on the 10th
