Monday 28th May Bank Holiday
Mate's Day2 from 3 Stableford

Pretty quiet to start with as Early Birds played an Individual Comp. They were followed by Gordon & Martin. They had told us Gordon was 'out with Grandson  - not recognising big-spending Martin Leigh who is getting Married up at CST on Saturday. Hope the rest of the week goes better for Martin as he went down to the relentless Gordon by 3&2. They came back across the road with Martin 2 down approaching 16th - but Gordon sank his putt for an outrageous 2 to close out the Match.
Gordon's in a 2-ball with his Grandson...

Gordon 1 up on 4th after halving

So the numbers built quickly and with Tee-Times only reserved until 09:30 - we had to get started and the Draw was made to get people out to the Tee. It was pleasing to see how quickly the Teams appeared on the 1st and we were already 3 times away before 09:03 which was great.

Steady scoring all around with only a few missed-putters separating the lower 7 Teams.
