Roll-Up report Wednesday 4th April 2018
Scramble (of sorts)

Today can be best described as interesting with the weather again being the main factor,
Mike King, John MacOmish & David Taylor went out early but were caught out by a heavy squally shower which ended their golf for the day.

Myself and 22 other seniors who should have known better eventually ventured out in the rain for nine holes unfortunately 1 team lost a player at the last minute as he decided it was too wet & went home to the Somerset Levels, , it was a shame as we didn’t have time to rearrange the other teams,
the good news was we got out & hit a few balls today.

We only paid out to the winners today & they had the only 2.
Not sure if Bill dug himself out of the snow the other day or he just waited for it to melt!

We heard reports about Alan Chance's Drive on 4th..which rebounded back between his legs....

Dream Team Today with a Gross 32 . Maurice complained after 4 holes he still hadn't had a Putt as others kept chipping in or sinking long putts.

Dickie was drooling as he talked about this
Fish Restaurant in Bridport...

Minutes later an Email arrived from our own resident Market Gardener, Sir Alan of Snowdon. It detailed how  Sudden Oak Death disease can be hosted by these aggressive plants...so you have been warned !!!
