With most of the seniors down at Dainton Park including myself the roll-up was a bit thin on the ground with 11 early birds & only 3 from the later starters playing in the competition, thanks to Ray Gudge who set it up and sent me the results.
Apologies for earlier reports that were inaccurate and carelessly written. JKP
No 2s today & only 1 birdie.

Challenge Cup Report from Dainton Park GC

42 seniors travelled down to Newton Abbot today for an individual stableford for what should have been Round 2 although we still have to play at East Devon which has been postponed twice due to weather conditions, apart from one heavy rain shower we managed to get away with fairly sunny but windy conditions which helped to make the course seem even longer, hence in general it made the scoring quite high, but what a lovely course and I think everyone that had food were impressed with the quality and the cost, perhaps we could do with a few more what I would call golfers meals on our menu.

Todays winners of nearest the pin were: Eric Smallwood on the 8th
