Hi, Because of the forecast I’ve changed the format to a 2
from 3 Stableford a bit more friendly I think, that’s if were not snowed in
anyway. Barrie Heath
Only 9 early birds and 24 late starters braved the cold in todays competition and if the forecast is correct
with stronger winds to come it will be even colder Wednesday, but we will see.

Congratulations to Brian Marsh with a hole in one on the 9th, (look out for a mention in the club’s newsletter).
I think that was harder to do on that temporary green than the main one, and thanks to Brian’s generosity
we have donated £20 to the Easter Egg collection for the Children’s Hospice South West + £10 to Clic Sargent
“young lives vs cancer”. I’ve never worked that one out you have a hole in one and it costs you loads of money.

Those playing in the Challenge Cup at Dainton please remember to pay Norman or Keith, it would be nice if
you can pay before the day but if not he will be after you at Dainton.

One More thing, it appears there are still some seniors who have not paid this years subs, Keith is doing an
updated list and if you have not paid & you win anything you will not be paid, remember you can always put
it in the post box (on the filling cabinet in the changing rooms) with a note.

3 two’s today paying £1 per player, plus Brian’s team payment for the Hole-In-One.
