Well done to Martyn, Chris, Quinny & Paul for the best pure Senior's Score of 48
There were more than a Dozen Teams that contained Seniors Members, so great support fro our new Captains.
I guess its always going to be tough against the likes of Will Bennett & Co ( 2,4,4,8 ) - getting 2 Shots versus Andy, Nobby, Clive, Dickie ( 23,24,24,27) - just getting 9 shots and also giving away nearly 200 Years in age difference. Will's Team Birdied 11 of the 15 Holes...easy when you can drive the 14th from back Ladies Tee.
Farmer Bob only got 5 shots...oh sorry..he was in the Garage working Marge.
We had Stew & Prosecco to finish...but Edmundo...he no likka Prosecco too much..but thanks for all the other lovely tit-bits. We shot a Gross 63 which seemed OK in a cold north wind and every Tee back as far as possible ( except 2nd maybe)..we passed one Team laughing their Heads Off as they walked off the 4th with a Birdy...when asked to explain..it was nervous laughter as they only had 1 ball in play off the tee, with the other 3 OOB ....Those are the days when you know the Golfing Gods are with you .
Course and Clubhouse were absolutely heaving which was great to see...but not a single youngster came up to collect the marker pegs and collect the money...you are obviously all paying them too much.
