Only 9
early birds & 10 late starters played today in about 4 C but the sun was
out and it kept dry.
The person
playing the rolling stableford who will be nameless (see below)tried to NR but
was bullied into finishing, there was one funny incident, before we played he
commented on how cards should be made out correctly then proceeded to not have
his handicap on the card when handed in, luckily they were not in the winnings
anyway.
One note
has been raised by a member that hopefully I can clear up, in a Texas Scramble
from once you nominate the ball you must then pick up the other balls
immediately & not play them for any reason, any player hitting an extra
shot will be deemed to have hit a practice shot & incur a two stroke
penalty under Rule 7-2. Not like me to quote rules so come on shoot me
down if you don’t agree.
