Cricket St Thomas Seniors 2

Ladies and Seniors – 21^st  March 2016

On a glorious day, with the sun shining and warm enough for some of us to play in shirt sleeves, the Seniors played a 2 from 3 with Cricket St Thomas Ladies.

Greeted by a newly surfaced rear Car Park, cladding on going and new doors being fitted to external doors of Locker Rooms.

The course was in great condition and for the first time, most of the tees were set back to their normal positions. With the lack of rain, the greens were much quicker and caught many off guard. Most scores were in the 70s, but the prize winners were way ahead of this.

The winners with 86 points were Barbara Shaw, Frank Martin

and Chris Denman.

In second place with 85 points were Kim Clarke, Roger Stone and Nobby Hodder. Roger is getting quite a collection of Easter eggs.

Andy Beale is nowhere in the Picture.

Special mention must go to John Pearce for his Eagle on the 5^th after driving the green

...and to Keith Branchflower for his gross 36 on the back 9, with birdies on the last two holes.
