Seniors Section
The
club have been aware for some time that seniors handicaps require revision.
The handicaps of every senior in the section will be reviewed in the next
week and in some cases will be revised upwards.
Paul
Bennett has overall responsibility to the county and to CONGU for each member’s
handicap and has to justify changes from time to time. In future, Frank Martin
and Paul will meet each month to review handicaps and will examine the
computerised records to justify any changes. Frank will make recommendations to
Paul based on the records.
Obvious examples are people like Colin Ireland who should play off single figures and Phil Hunt who now has more money invested in the Pro Shop than myself. Others maybe need a little help, such as Farmer Bob who is obviously well out of form.
