A good test of golf today but
clearly too breezy for mathmatics. Early results showed Alan Chance, Bill
Hilson and Vic Gane in third place but on further scrutiny, the team of Martin
Bargery, Tom Downey and Andy Beale showed a handicap reduction of 10.03 (highly
unlikely). This revised to 10.33 and on count back they moved into 3rd
position. Best front nine was scored by the runners up but they fell away on
the back nine.
There were three 2’s on the 9th
and 16th holes.
