Once again, CST avoids the weather and we had a pretty nice day, with just the odd light shower and the course playing quite well.
The dominance of Branchmanager and over the HillSon who won so many competitions over the past 20 years appears to be over as both carrying health issues and despite the odd flash of brilliance were no match for Markby/Pearce who felt they had played pretty well..until they glanced at the leader board !
Earlies continue dominance and now only an Early team can win the Winter League.
Wayne & Kevin must have thought they'd played one hell of a round, but with only 2 shots - Kevin just could not match the 3-pointers. 15th into the wind was toughest with only one player making a Par 4 - yes, Kev Barry.
Hunt & Hone, got the Huff as neither of them or their other Half , Hiam & Hulk, scored a single point on 15 Hole.
Mark I Sanders nearly went OOB on 5th - as he was up against the hedge to the right of the 1st..but luckily Mark II managed a Par 5 - one of only 2 to make Par ( David A) ..but of course Kev B made a Birdie 4.
