Foggy start to day which delayed opening.
Playing off White Tees with a Red Flag made 2nd hole a mighty challenge with Jolly Roger's crew scoring Nil points. Toughest Hole today was 9th..with not one player making a Par.
Club reviewed a data-dump of scores on 2nd hole since new bunker was opened. It has added almost a full stroke to the average score on that hole. Good news, however is that after Over the Hillson got lost in there for 3 days, steps are being installed to assist egress.
Apparently this guy also designed 2nd hole at CST

Spare a thought for Mark Barry he was the phantom pro and went round in a gross 71 (should have been a winner).
Well done to a class team..rule 1 - keep Yellow ball...but at least 6 didn't. We lost ours early and must have been at least another on 4th. James's lost theirs on 5th..but 2nd shot not the tee shot. Believe the pack of Sweets also lost theirs on 5th .Killer Mark says they lost theirs on 15th, also 2nd shot. We found brand new yellow Callaway on l/h of 14th, just in rough.

Amazing win AWAY at Sidmouth
Captain & James did the polite thing & lost 2&1
Paul Shorrocks crushed a ball with his bare hands on the practice green , as he and Rob Shelley strolled to 6&5
Derek Gardener & Steve Sutcliffe were comfortable at 4&3
Eric Williams & Nick Patten made good use of their 13 shots to squeeze a win 1 Up.
In the Baker's Kitchen, John & Steve were giving the Home Team shots - but still closed their match out on 17th Green.
Tony Harris, who loved the grub 'absolutely fantastic' - also loved his result with Brian Smith , 1 Up.
Captain writes:-
