Memorial Trophy Report

On a warm
sunny day 53 seniors took part in this competition today played in memory of
past seniors, with the £79 going to my charity Clic Sargent, so again I thank
you for your generosity.
One team had to play with only 2 players as
one withdrew but they battled on and at
least they had a birdie for their efforts, we had one late team entry which
included Brian Hodder
who unfortunately had a fall during the second 9, I am awaiting news but I understand he is
ok, again we had a team DQ and they had a good score, one member of the team no names (P. DQ S.F.) this is the second time in a week that that his team was DQ, all right not his fault this time, plus one team did not return their card.

There was I
understand a discussion today whether one member was a paid up Senior member, a
Bob Baber has a handicap registered and is a paid up member of the seniors,

Club Captain's day
I feel that I should play on 16th June to support
Glynn Sims who is making every effect to bring the 3 sections more together, so
could you put a note on the blog that I am looking for 3 seniors to make up a
team, if not I will ask Glynn to put me in to make up a team.
It's a Medal format but you can purchase 1 Metre of String to move your ball or 'Mulligan' Balloons to forget a shot or 2.
