Mates Day Monday 29th August
It was
apparent that this August Bank Holiday must have been held as a day when:
Grandchildren sitting, BBQ’s, gardening, going to the beach, relaxing in the
garden , etc took preference to playing
golf. Or did the better halves at last rule the roost?
Fifteen
stalwarts took to the fairways in glorious weather playing in a Three man Texas
Scramble £ 1 entry per person, Winner
Take All.
Teams were formed as you arrived and the results showed
that Birdies were few and far especially as birdies
were not being paid out , maybe that is why as there
was no pay out ,what was the purpose of getting any.
The course
was quite empty for a Bank Holiday so again millionaires golf for the Seniors
