There was some terrific scoring today, most notably by Danny
Dowell who scored a gross 69 (net 65) – the best score recorded by a Senior
this year. Congratulations also go to Stewart Forbes for his second place in
Division 1 with an excellent net 70 despite an unfortunate 9 on the 7th.
In third place on count back was Alan Chance whose card was very steady, 6 pars
and no birdies.
In Division 2, 1 shot separated the first three.
Unfortunately Andy Beale scored an unfortunate 7 on the 18th letting Roger Withers secure second place on
count back. Nevertheless, Mike Mosser triumphed with a fine net 71.
There were three 2’s, each paying £8.60.
