Triple Medley - 29^th  July 2016

A cold day with a couple of brief but heavy showers.

Captain did Monthly Booze Draw which saw Nobby win the Star Prize and Clive Fisk win the Gallon of Old Rosie Cider. Well done Richard as another chunk of cash raised for charity.

Forty four members played in a Triple Medley which was won by a street by George Wallace and Gordon Hughes. Early Birds had just 9, so Roger played with them to sort numbers- which coincidentally also helped late roll-up, clever old Roger.
The Captain was partnered by a Guest, Jurek Piasecki, former Captain of Merrist Wood Golf Club near Guildford, Mick Aldridge’s old club. Their card is open to inspection.

Plenty of groans with tricky game format, but well done for everyone coping so well. Picture shows Gordon & John making up after getting a DQ Wednesday for a missing signature...but wait till John gets his new teeth as it may be a different story....
