DO NOT TURN UP FOR THE ROLLUP ON MONDAY  18th JULY
...but do come on Tuesday...

South West Ladies Rally

Discard -  15th  July 2016

This is a format we do not play very often. Teams of three discard 3 scores from their card. Interestingly, the results would have stayed in the same sequence apart from the last three teams. Forecast was a bit wayward today as they Dry Day turned decidedly wet for a while and the Blue-Mac was once more on display. Nice to see Chris Gingell back with us today after a few weeks in Turkey.

There were 6 birdies, paying £2.25 per birdie.

The winners will be cut 2 shots and the runners up 1 shot.

..In fact George  won on Wednesday then at Rushmore on Thursday where he shared the only success with Roger and 2nd today... a busy week.

Rushmore Report:-

Roger took the team to Rushmore Golf Club today Thursday14th,
in our second leg of the 2016 season.

Having lost at home earlier in the year 3 1/2---- 2 1/2 we were hoping to avenge that defeat.

On what was a glorious day weather wise with the Rushmore track in superb condition,
we had high hopes.

Unfortunately, it was another heavy defeat with Roger and his partner George Wallace
the only pair to stop a whitewash by halving their match.

Maybe we can do better next year.

Cheers
Roger

Des Denning and Nobby Hodder played in the Rolling Stableford scoring 31 points and 30 points respectively.

Bim won the ProV1 for correctly spotting Keith Branchflower's Arms in the Wednesday Picture.

New member today riding ride on his own on a buggy, so look out for Mr John Sweet  at a future Roll-Up and please make him Welcome

Amazing scene in the Marquee as it is being set up for the Cotley Hunt Summer ball with 303 Seats laid up...a new record.

It has extensions at both the front & the side.

So a busy Saturday Night for the Staff once more.;

The next rollup is on Tuesday 19th July

If the thought of some fresh air appeals to you, the Ladies South West Rally is being run on Monday and they still require some ball spotters. There are 148 players competing.
